This was my first ride as part of the ADF Cycling team in the Blayney to Bathurst. I entered inside my age bracket to complete the 110km ride. For my first major event the start was rather disorganised and a lot of the riders missed there time slot due to people blocking the starting gates. I believe it could of been sorted by the organisers a lot earlier. the track itself was a good challenge and enjoyable ride. The volunteers on the drink and food stations did an outstanding job. I was unaware of the Barracks at Bathurst for accomadation there needs to be a bit more communication between all riders who have been granted the admission to the ride. The group that rode in the race have already discussed this and it should be rectified for next year. Overall I enjoyed the experience.
